1. Leave me a comment saying anything random, like your character's favourite colour, or what the relationship with their mother was like, their lap dancer name, whatever.

2. I respond by asking you five questions so I can get to know your character better.

3. You update your characters IJ with the answers to the questions, and comment to this post with a link to your answers.

4. You will include this explanation and offer to ask someone else's character, or even players, in the post.

5. When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions about either themselves or their characters.

1] When did she first discover she could sing, and did she feel naturally called to the theatre or was she unsure of it?
She discovered she could sing at rather a young age as she would sing along to the songs her mother played on her harpsichord. Her father saw the potential and enrolled her in one of the many conservatories when she was just eight. Sabana did not feel a natural call towards the theatre, although she did feel a natural pull towards attention. When she found out that being on stage could get here the attention she craved she became much more interested in it.

2] She says she prefers younger men - but how young is too young? What would she prefer, marrying a younger man to simply be in charge of him, or marrying an older man?
Anything less than seven years younger than her and she feels uncomfortable. She especially likes men who are in awe of her as her Opera Diva self and so could settle quite happily for an older man if he where willing to support her and follow her around. She would though take younger lovers, she finds they have more passion.

3] It says in her info that she is bisexual, but when and how did she first discover her attraction to women? Was it something she embraced or something she simply came to terms with?
Sabana discovered her attraction to other women when she was a young girl at the conservatory. It seemed an almost natural progression of sexual exploration between them, after all they where together every day and every night, ate together, sang and slept in the same room. Although she has had fewer female lovers than male she did enjoy herself very much at the French court. It is something she simply accepts as part of herself. If she is still willing to marry then what is the problem with a few dalliances?

4] Would she ever consider having another child? How has the death of her daughter effected her personally? Sabana would love to have another daughter but it is probably a good idea that she doesn’t. She would treat her like a living doll, something to dress up and parade around as a miniature version of herself. However, the death of her daughter in France was horrible. She was a little under a year old when she caught an infection from the child of another mistress. That child recovered and Sabana’s did not. What she found harder than losing her child was the loss of friends who turned against her because it has not simply been her child but also the Kings’. She had to greave in private because her daughter was no longer allowed to be mentioned at court and it hurt her to be shunned for something she couldn’t have prevented.

5] Was she in love with the King of France, close to it or did she see it for what it really was? Were any of her friends rounded up and killed? Either way how does she feel about that?
Sabana was not in love with him. She was very fond of him, but with what happened after the death of their daughter she could never have loved him. Many of the friends she had in Court, other mistresses and actors, have been guillotined. Sabana is beyond distressed by this and she is more than willing to help fund Mercedes in rescuing any that are still alive.

Katherine prays every few nights that her father's murderers be caught and killed.

1) Would Katherine ever think of paying someone to hunt down the killers of her father?

2) Does Katherine want children or does she see motherhood as a trap?

3) How would Katherine cope if Miles was to marry? Would she want a say in his choice of bride?

4) Apart from writing what else is Katherine interested in?

5) If given the opportunity to go to university or to have a job what would Katherine do apart from writing obviously?

The first time Mercedes went one a boat, he was terribly sea-sick. Luckily he grew out of it.

Poor Mercedes!
1) Why is Mercedes helping Aristocrats to escape. Is it the money or something else?

2) Is he happy as a merchant or does he dream of higher things?

3) Although the revolution has brought him into danger he has also made a lot of new friends and gained a number of favours. In what circumstances would he call upon these new contacts?

4) What did Mercedes think the first time he met Aimé?

5) If there was no revolution where in the world would Mercedes be right now?

Olivier would never ever let Amandine go, even if it were for the best for both of them.

Antoine has no favorite color. He does, however, have a least favorite color. It's orange.

1) How is Antoine’s relationship with his father?
2) Characters have already asked what Antoine looks for in a woman but what does he look for in a man?
3) How did he come to realise he was bisexual?
4) In his information it says he feels something more than brotherly affection for Aimé. Would he ever act on it? If so why?
5) Sabana is sponsoring Mercedes at court and from what I’ve read Antoine is not Mercedes biggest fan to put it mildly. How will he deal with that?

Jacques once cheated on a Latin test at Louis-le-Grand, and still feels guilty about it.

1) Why did he cheat? And how did he manage it?
2) What is Jacques' happiest memory?
3) What would Léon have to do to win his son over? Or is that relationship to far gone to be fixed?
4) Is there anything that could turn him away from the revolution? If so, what?
5) What was his play about?
